Salvage is a sci fi action rogue-like, in which you navigate the wreckage of a corporate mining operation amidst a dying void, salvaging what you can in order to return home. With a functioning coffee machine.
After an unfortunate incident involving a cup of coffee, a life support AI is now forced to act as their ship's auto pilot. It must traverse the remains of a corporate mining operation in the heart of an asteroid belt to rescue a misfit group of AI's in order to return home. However, leading this merry band of AI may prove difficult as the Life Support struggles to adapted to its new role. It learns to bond with the other AIs over what it means to continue to exist beyond their original programming.
Explore the void, a mysterious place where the laws of the universe don’t always function as expected, and discover the secrets hidden there. Travel through a massive procedurally generated map of distinct areas and biomes, each with their own unique challenges.
Fight against an onslaught of mining drones reprogrammed to protect their master’s secrets, as well as the threats and terrors of the void that long predate human intervention. Utilize Salvage’s deep and complex combat system to defeat your enemies as you manage every aspect of your ship to exploit the weaknesses in theirs.
